My name is Jim Kissane. I am the founder and facilitator for the “In Between Jobs Support Group”

I was asked to start this group by a clergy member back in 2006, because he was seeing too many men and women who had been devastated by the loss of a job, or in fear of losing their job.

With that in mind, I had met a gentleman who had created a new model for helping jobseekers regain employment. And with his assistance, the “In Between Jobs Support Group” was created and launched.

Back then, and just as true today, the first “casualty” of job loss is a hit to our spiritual and emotional self.  HR people and hiring managers can spot you a mile away.  So a cornerstone principle of our group is to start each weekly meeting with inspiration and encouragement to help you feel more positive about yourself.

We also recognized that job loss also can trigger many financial and emotional stressors.  We provide you with resources to help you with these challenging areas.

So we put together a program that seeks to provide each jobseeker with

  • A way to maintain your spiritual and emotional strength to get through this trying time
  • A loving, caring community that affirms each person, regardless of their circumstance
  • A network of others who have gone through what you are going through right now and can share with you how it gets better.
  • An unbelievable library of job search resources to help you no matter what your needs are
  • Seasoned volunteer job search coaches who are committed to working with you one-on-one and in a group setting

Thousands of former jobseekers have been through our program and are anxious to help you get back into the workforce.  All of this is available to you at NO COST to you!
(Other than the hard work you need to put in, to find and get that next job)
